SUB FLOOR VENTILATION
Subfloor ventilation is an extremely important aspect of damp control. However, sub floor ventilation DOES NOT SOLVE RISING DAMP. Sub floor ventilation is for the protection of timbers and the reduction of moist air that rises into the living space. It is critical to the longevity of your building and the health and comfort of those living within the dwelling. The control of airflow should be guaged acurately as too much air flow can be just as damaging as a lack of air flow.
GDL Damp Proofing use both passive and motor driven ventilation systems according what best suits your particular building. Some buildings are fine with passive vents while others require fan forced air due to a lack of natural cross flow.patek philippe replica watches
PASSIVE VENTILATION: We use ALETA vents. These vents are attractive with a brass mesh infill and available in most colours to suit any building. The Aleta vent offers nine times the air flow of your standard terracotta vent. We also supply and fit stainless and terracotta vents should they be requested.
FAN FORCED AIR: We use the FANTECH S & P range of fan systems. These systems can be used to suit any size of subfloor air space. The systems are ducted and designed to maximise air flow with as little as possible energy consumption. These fans are extremely quiet and cost very little to run.
